Who am I?

My name is Hui Murray. I am an artist, writer, and photographer. I am a sister, friend, and immigrant-born daughter. I am a creator, fashion icon, and music enthusiast. I am an innovator, leader, and achiever.

My passion is bringing my creativity to every endeavor: whether that be in work, travel, or life in general. I create commissioned art as well as concept and execute creative photoshoots, travel photography, and individual portraits. I am also working on a short novel collective of the stories from my mother and grandmother and the generations of hardship in China that have uplifted me to where I am now. I have worked in various positions that have developed my creative thinking ability; from being the Assistant Photo Director for MA:E Magazine at the University of Michigan, to working as the executive assistant to the CEO of Prisca, a non-profit that uplifts minority voices through various storytelling media forms, to being a creative project manager at both Saks Fifth Avenue and a fashion tech start up called VAS3D. Now, I am in the Graduate Program for Culture Marketing at Red Bull. Outside of professional involvements, I absolutely love music, fashion, travel, cooking, writing, art and photography.
